What are Parkour Workshops?
Our Parkour workshops take place in week 10 of term 4 to provide a fun and stimulating afternoon activity for any year 5-10 students that finish school early for the summer holidays.
Our Head of Kids Parkour, Naidan, will be running 5 days of Parkour based workshops that explore some of the core movements of Parkour including Vaults, Jumps, Rolls, Flips and Quadrupedal movements.
Each workshop is 2 hours long and covers a range of parkour movements and activities. Students can attend one off casual sessions or for best results we recommend attending the full 5 day course.

Parkour Workshops are for kids aged 9-15 years old.
How long are the sessions?
Each session runs for 2 hours.

Can you attend more than one day?
Yes. You can attend as many days as you like. Simply select the sessions you would like to enroll for then select the appropriate pricing option.
What if I have more than 1 child?
We love seeing kids play with their brothers and sisters.

Is it just for boys?
No! Gone are the days where boys play with toys and girls play with dolls. Parkour and movement is for everyone and we love seeing young girls having fun being active. It is also a very effective cross training method for girls looking to excel in ballet, netball, gymnastics or other sports.
How many kids per class?
To ensure a safe environment we separate each class into three groups and limit our student to teacher ratio to no more than 12:1
Who are the coaches?
We pride ourselves on having some of the best, most experienced and highest qualified coaches in Perth. Our program is designed by Ben Westbrook (our head parkour coach). Coach Naidan is our Head of Kids Parkour and has taught Parkour in schools as well as our adult Parkour program. Our other coaches are Bec, Mohammad, Luke and Husain who are all highly experienced and qualified and have a diverse range of skills and experiences to bring to the program.
What safety measures do you take?
Some gyms are super padded and squishy and don't have any similarities to the real world of concrete floors, brick walls and metal bars. Why? Because they want to keep kids "safe". But we know that kids are going to want to do parkour, freerunning or tricks at school, in the playground and on the streets where there are unforgiving and dangerous surfaces. Our kids movement program isn't designed to teach kids how to bounce and tumble and land on soft, squishy surfaces. We want to prepare them for the real world they will be playing in.
With that said, we pride ourselves on delivering very low injury rates by teaching children how to have fun whilst taking calculated and responsible risks. That is where our coaches come in. We will teach them the safest, proven methods of tackling obstacles, jumping off blocks, rolling on landing and swinging between bars to ensure they get the best experience possible and learn real life skills.
We do however have a number of crash mats and softer blocks which we use when working above certain heights and for unfamiliar movements, especially for the younger kids, so that they can learn in a less intimidating environment.
