Our Strength class is designed to make athletic training accessible to members of all levels.
Combining elements of weightlifting, powerlifting and bodybuilding, the goal of the program is to improve lower body strength, power, endurance and fitness.
The main movements we focus on are:
  • Deadlift
  • Back Squat
  • Front Squat
  • Lunges
  • Clean and Jerk
  • Barbell Pushing and Pulling
  • Running
  • Jumping
All classes have three programming pathways to choose from so we have a challenge for movers of all levels:
Fundamentals - for new members or people returning to strength training after an extended break. We first focus on quality hip hinge and squat mechanics and the programming is geared towards higher reps and a focus on developing a strong, muscular foundation to build on.
General Physical Preparedness- A hybrid programming option designed to balance strength, power and muscle gains through exposure to a wide variety of movements and intensities to build strong, resilient bodies.
Advanced - for experienced members who want to improve their maximal strength through tailored programming designed to increase their Squat and Deadlift.
